Ujuzi Hub: Digital Innovation Through African Apprenticeship

Bridging traditional wisdom with modern technology to empower Kenya's youth through relationship-based learning.

Empowering the Next Generation of African Innovators

Providing youth with the skills, mentorship, and tools to build sustainable futures.

Building Digital Skills for the 21st Century

From 3D prototyping to marketplace integration - we're preparing youth for the digital economy.

Our Mission

Forezava Technologies is building a digital innovation hub for local youth in Kenya. The vision has been created out of an understanding of ethnographic knowledges in Africa. Historically most skills were transferred through an apprenticeship structure where a learner engages with a specific expert for a period of time learning the trade until they become experts themselves.

The idea here is to specialize a person through relationships rather than the continued cramming of content. We believe in learning by doing, guided by masters who have walked the path before.

Introducing Ujuzi Hub

A digital platform that connects learners with mentors through relationship-based skill development

The New Friend to Learners

Ujuzi Hub is designed to upskill youth through relationships. The primary relationship builder is the digital platform, which enables:

  • Mentorship Matching: Link trainees to experts who guide them in product design, prototyping, building, and customer relationships.
  • Active Prototyping: Simplified 3D rendering tools for customizing sizes, quantities, shapes, and materials.
  • Digital Marketplace: A platform for youth to actively sell products with customer-driven pricing, design, and color variations.
